Bored Thoughts
I've got a problem with marriage. Ever since I was around 10 or so, I thought that couples getting married at a young age is really retarded. I have heard my whole life that people don't REALLY know who they are until they're around 25. The person I am TODAY, could be COMPLETELY different from the person I am in 6 years. This is how it is with roughly everyone. So, for someone to get married at the age of 18, I think is stupid. Let's say, you get married at 18 years old. That gives you 7 years of growing up to do before you hit 25, which is roughly the age where a person knows who they are and what they want in life. But, you've been married for 7 years. Maybe it was a smart choice at 18, but maybe now the person you're married to is the total opposite of who they were. You 2 want different things in life, marriage isn't cut out for the 2 of you, you get divorced. It happens. So, I figure a good age to get married at would be around 25. That way, you know what you want, the other person knows what THEY want, and if you 2 love each other, get married. I just wouldn't want to wake up every day to someone I no longer have feelings for. Feelings come and go. Simple as that. You could be completely and utterly in love with someone one day, and be the complete opposite a week later. There's really no telling.

Introduction
Well, this is my first official Blogspot post. I'd like to welcome you to the Mind of Mayhem. I'm your guide on this journey, Jayy Mayhem. This is a place where I will post my thoughts and what not. It could be as detailed as I want, ranging from paragraphs long to a few sentences. Pretty much whatever I feel like posting. Right now, it's 9:02 pm in Baldwin Park, California on the 20th of January, 2013. Today has been a pretty chill day for me. Last night, I went to sleep at 4 in the morning after partying it up with my boys Jakk, John, and Daniel. I had some Scotch, played some games, watched some movies. It was pretty chill. Woke up at 11 and did some house work. Took a nap and had some dinner. And here we are. Let me give you a little background on me, just so you get to know me a little better:
- I was born on March 11th, 1994 in the city of sin, Las Vegas, Nevada.
- I moved to Baldwin Park, California at the age of 3.
- I graduated class of 2012 at Baldwin Park High School.
- I was enrolled in music classes ever since the 5th grade, mainly for percussion, and was taught every percussion instrument (including vibraphone, congas, snare, quads, etc.)
- I picked up my first guitar at the age of 5.
- I have had multiple teachers when it comes to music, ranging from different genres.
- I am currently working for an up and coming label based out of El Monte, California.
- I plan on moving to Japan in 2017.
- My dream is to perform at Ozzfest and to open for Girugamesh and Machine Head.
Now you know all that I want you to know. Lately, I've been thinking about moving to Japan. The thought first came into my head at the beginning of my senior year. I kinda messed around with the thought, not knowing for sure whether I want to go or not. I came to the conclusion late last year that I am going to move out there. My plan is to get a job coming up to pay for a teaching class and save up for the trip. I want at least $15,000 saved up for the trip (which converts to roughly 1.5 million yen in Japan) so I can live comfortably until I get a teaching job. People who aren't fluent in Japanese, but can speak English can pretty much only teach English in Japan. While I learn the language more, I will teach during the day, while writing and recording music. I will mainly record acoustic songs so I can perform by myself until I get a band to back me up. I'm extremely excited to move out to Japan. It's going to be a fun experience.
